Moving into Southampton with adult social care needs

If you receive support to meet your daily living needs from your current Local Authority please ensure you have spoken to a social worker in your local area about your move.

Under The Care Act 2014 it is the duty of your existing Local Authority to ensure Southampton City Council is aware of your move, has a copy of your most recent assessment and that support is put in place in a timely way to ensure your needs are met from your point of arrival.
