Early careers framework

With the implementation of the new Early Career’s Framework from 1 September 2021, Southampton City Council has made the decision that they will unfortunately be unable to continue acting as an Appropriate Body.

As you will be aware, the framework for newly qualified teachers has recently changed to incorporate quality assurance. Unfortunately, Southampton City Council do not have the capacity to undertake the additional duties required, and therefore regret that they will not be able to act as an AB anymore.
