Results of the 2024 Local Election count

At Southampton City Council’s local elections on Thursday 2 May 2024, 17 out of 51 seats were up for election, one in each of the city’s 17 Wards.

The Labour group retained control of the council.

The full make-up of the council is now as follows:

Labour - 36
Conservative - 10
Liberal Democrats - 4
Green Party - 1
