Celebrating success

Our teams excelled in their fields and we are honoured that it has not gone unnoticed at this year’s Green Apple Awards run by The Green Organisation

In November, Balfour Beatty Living Places, Southampton City Council, and Goal17 Mentoring were awarded several International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards, CSR World Leader Awards and the Bronze Green Apple Environment Award!

These awards recognised the work of a range of initiatives held across our projects, including:

• A 10-week employability programme delivered by Goal 17
• Our Citywatch Team who work tirelessly to keep Southampton safe and to keep the network moving
• The outstanding efforts provided to protect Southampton’s natural coastline through the Weston Foreshore Coastal Protection project, delivered collaboratively alongside our partners Southampton City Council and supply chain partners within our Scape framework
