Adult Social Care Charging Policy consultation
Views sought from residents as consultation launches
Residents across Southampton are being urged to give their views on a newly launched consultation, outlining proposals to change some aspects of the Adults Social Care charging process.
Adults and carers who are most likely to be affected by the proposals are being contacted directly to gain their views on the suggested changes. The recommendations are being put forward to ensure that charges are fair and clear, and that the council targets its funds at helping those most in need.
As well as seeking the views of those who will be directly affected, the consultation is open to all members of the public to gather wider feedback. The consultation went live on Monday 25 September and runs for six weeks until Sunday 5 November.
