Slippage/Variations/Reason for Withdrawal: This item has slipped from 15th August to 17th October to allow for further consultation. The decision to proceed with the Child Friendly UNICEF initiative has been reviewed by the Administration and the council's executive management team (EMT). The current financial position of the Council requires close scrutiny of all expenditure. The Administration and EMT agree that the Child Friendly initiative will continue to be a local priority; and, that notice will be given to UNICEF to cease the accreditation process.
