Slippage/Variations/Reason for Withdrawal: It was originally anticipated that this report to Cabinet would seek approval to implement the scheme. However, the application to DfT in July to approve the scheme design is not committing the Council to the implementation of a scheme. A report will be brought to Cabinet later in the year seeking approval to implement the scheme once the design is approved by DfT. A decision therefore is no longer required by Cabinet and this item will be withdrawn from the forward plan.
