Statement From The Chair

Minutes:

As part of the Chief Executive’s current restructure, the Chair announced the internal appointment of Nawaz Khan, currently Head of Economic Development and Regeneration as Interim Executive Director Place which had taken place with immediate effect until the appointment of a permanent Executive Director of Growth and Prosperity which was anticipated to be late April 2024 .

Exclusion of Press and Public

Chair to move that in accordance with the Council's Constitution, specifically the Access to Information Procedure Rules contained within the Constitution, the press and public be excluded from the meeting in respect of the following item based on Categories 1, 2 and 3 of paragraph 10.4 of the Access to Information Procedure Rules.


The information contained therein is potentially exempt as it relates to individual personal details and information held under the Data Protection Act 1998. Having applied the public interest test it is not appropriate to disclose this information as the individuals' legal expectation of privacy outweighs the public interest in the exempt information.

Appointment of Executive Director Resident Services

To consider the report of the Executive Director of Resources regarding the appointment of Interim Executive Director Resident Services.

Minutes:

The Panel considered the confidential report of the Head of Human Resources and Organisational Development regarding the Appointment of Interim Executive Director Resident Services. 

 

RESOLVED: that Debbie Ward be appointed as Executive Director Resident Services on an interim basis.
