Issue - meetings

The Committee considered the report of the Executive Director Corporate Services detailing the Draft Statement of Accounts 2022/23 and noted that the annual audit carried out by external auditors Ernst & Young LLP was expected to commence August 2023 to be completed in October 2023, any major changes to the Statement of Accounts arising from the annual audit were expected to be reported to 13^th November Governance Committee.

RESOLVED:

(i)  That the draft Statement of Accounts 2022/23 had been signed

    by the Deputy S151 Officer be noted; and

(ii)   That the audited Statement of Accounts 2022/23 was expected to

    be presented to Committee on 13 November 2023 for approval.
