Purpose:
To consider the report of the Leader of the Council detailing the proposed response to each of the Scrutiny Inquiry recommendations regarding the recent inquiry on “Maintaining Balanced Neighbourhoods Through Planning”.
Decision:
To receive and approve the proposed responses to the recommendations of Scrutiny Panel A, attached as Appendix 2.
Reasons for the decision:
The overview and scrutiny rules in part 4 of the Council’s Constitution requires the Executive to consider all inquiry reports that have been endorsed by the Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee, and to submit a formal response to the recommendations within them.
