Purpose:

To consider the report of the Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, seeking approval for financial envelope bearing in mind re-procurement.

Decision:

To award three Extra Care Contracts to the successful Tenderer, Care Quality Services Ltd, with effect from 1st July 2024 to 1st July 2028 for an initial term of 4 years with a possible +1+1 extension, at an annual value of £452,368.80 and a total contract value of £2,714,212.80.

Reasons for the decision:

The recommended contract awards are the result of an open, fair, and transparent procurement process, and the application submitted by Care Quality Services Ltd represents the most economically advantageous option for provision of the extra care services required by the Council.
