Purpose:
To consider the report of the Cabinet Member
for Health and Sustainable Living detailing the Executive's formal
response to the recommendations from the "Making Southampton
Dementia Friendly" Scrutiny Inquiry in accordance with the Overview
and Scrutiny Procedure Rules in Part 4 of the Council’s
Constitution within two months of their receipt.
Decision:
To receive and approve the proposed responses to the recommendations of the Scrutiny Inquiry Panel, attached as Appendix 1.
Reasons for the decision:
The overview and scrutiny rules in part 4 of the Council’s Constitution requires the Executive to consider all inquiry reports that have been endorsed by the Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee (OSMC), and to submit a formal response to the recommendations within them.
