From July 2014 to March 2015 the Scrutiny Panel undertook an inquiry to develop an understanding of the issues of air quality in Southampton and to identify what additional actions could be taken, if necessary, to improve it. The final report of the Panel is presented to the Cabinet for consideration and further action.

To approve the responses to the recommendations as detailed in Appendix 1.

The actions set out in Appendix 1 to this report support the recommendations made by the Scrutiny Inquiry and can be achieved through existing work programmes being conducted across the Directorates.
