| | | (i) That, subject to satisfactory advertisement and consultation, the Solicitor to the Council be authorised to amend The City of Southampton (The Off Street Parking Places) Order 2002 to include the Crosshouse Hard car park. (ii) That charges and times of operation as detailed in Appendix 1 be approved with effect from 1st January 2004. (iii) That the charging structure is know as Tariff B (Crosshouse). | ||||||||
| REASONS FOR THE DECISION | ||||||||||

| | Crosshouse Hard car park currently provides free parking, and since the completion of the St Mary’s Stadium has become increasingly in demand. Including this car park in the Off Street Car Park Order would enable cars obstructing the public slipway to be issued with a £60 Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). The income would provide a revenue stream to support other Leisure facilities within the City. | |||||||||
