To consider a report of the Head of Safeguarding seeking endorsement of the eligibility criteria for Short Breaks. Short break provision, administered by Southampton City Council, also termed ‘respite’ for disabled children and young people, needs to be allocated against need in the context of the level of resource available to provide the service. The criteria will be used by Jigsaw Lead Professionals and colleagues in partner agencies to ensure that a high quality service continues to be delivered that improves the outcomes achieved by disabled children and young people.
