In 2007 a Detailed Assessment of air quality in the city identified changes to two existing AQMAs and two further AQMAs to be declared. The City Council has a duty to revise the existing AQAP to include details on the new AQMA declarations and any subsequent amendments to the action plan measures to improve air quality
