To consider the report of the Head of Communities, Change and Partnerships seeking approval of the Council’s Equality Action Plan. In November 2012 Cabinet and Council approved a number of amendments to the Council’s Equality Policy and Objectives and delegated final approval of the Equality Action Plan to the Directorate for Environment and Economy following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Communities. A public consultation has been carried out on 18 draft equality actions and this decision will finalise the Council’s revised Equality Action Plan based on that feedback.
