Committee details

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee is the parent committee that manages the council’s overview and scrutiny process.  The Committee meets on a monthly basis and is responsible for agreeing the scrutiny inquiry programme, monitoring performance and budgets, considering actions of the Safe City Partnership, scrutinising items on the council’s Forward Plan and exercising the power to call-in executive decisions.
