Call-in of Executive Decision CAB 18/19: 23514 – A Green City Charter for Southampton.
Having considered the representations from the Leader of the Opposition Party and a member of Extinction Rebellion the decision of 19th March 2019 was re-confirmed and recommendations 1-9 from Overview and Scrutiny Committee call-in meeting 4th April 2019 rejected.
The following comments from the Executive were noted in relation to the recommendations from Overview and Scrutiny Committee:-
Recommendations 1, 2a, 2b, 2c & 2d were rejected
Recommendations 3, 4 & 9 had been completed already
Recommendation 5 was being carried out now.
Recommendations 6 & 7 were questions and not recommendations and were not about the Green City Charter
Recommendation 8 would be investigated if it had any additional value to the current Democratic Process
