To consider the report of the Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport seeking approval of the Article 4 Direction for Rockstone Lane, removing Permitted Development Rights for the properties in Rockstone Lane.

Having considered the objections to the proposals, to confirm the Article 4 Direction for Rockstone Lane, removing Permitted Development Rights for the properties set out in Appendix 1.

To enable the Council to control unsympathetic development within the Conservation Area and preserve its character and appearance.

Not to confirm the Article 4 Direction.  This would make it harder for the Council to control unsympathetic development in the area, leading to a gradual loss of character.
