Purpose:
This paper will provide the Executives
response to the recommendations set out in the Scrutiny Inquiry
Report on Reducing and Prevention Domestic Abuse in Southampton,
submitted to Cabinet on 18 June 2019
Decision:
To receive and approve the proposed responses to the recommendations of the Scrutiny Inquiry Panel, to follow as a completed version of Appendix 1.
Reasons for the decision:
The overview and scrutiny rules in part 4 of the Council’s Constitution requires the Executive to consider all inquiry reports that have been endorsed by the Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee (OSMC), and to submit a formal response to the recommendations within them.
