To consider the report of the Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport, seeking approval for the Food and Health and Safety Service Plan 2010/12 detailing how the Trading Standards and Environmental Health Services will meet the statutory minimum level of service laid down by the Food Standards Agency and Health and Safety Executive. The Plan provides information on enforcement services, outlines how performance targets will be met together with how any deviation from the required minimum statutory level of service will be addressed.

Slippage/Variations/Reason for Withdrawal: Reason for slippage from decision making on 7/06/2010 to 5/07/2010: the performance figures required for the Plan not being verified by the appropriate government departments and the EU in time for submission for decision making on 7/06/2010. This item has been withdrawn from the Cabinet Agenda following changes to the Council's Constitution in May 2010 as Cabinet approval is no longer required as the decision can now be taken under delegated powers by the Executive Director of Environment.
