Grants to Voluntary Organisations 2010/11

To consider the report of the Cabinet Member of Housing and Local Services, requesting approval of the allocation of 2010/11 grants budget to voluntary organisations.

 

A review of grants to voluntary organisations was approved by Cabinet on 16th March 2009.  A new process and revised grants criteria were approved subject to 12 weeks consultation on 27th July 2009.  Changes were made as a result of consultation and the new process and revised criteria were approved on 23rd November 2009.

 

Applications for grants from the Running Costs Fund and New Projects Fund were received between January and March 2010.  This report details those applications and makes recommendations on which organisations will receive the available funding in 2010/11.
