Report of the Sustainability Policy Manager seeking approval for the seeking approval for the adoption of the River Itchen, Weston Shore, Netley and Hamble Coastal Defence Strategy (CDS) to provide a strategic level basis for decision making and action related to the management of the coastline over the next 100 years above plan, attached.

Under delegated power as granted by Cabinet on 25^th October, 2010 the Head of Planning and Sustainability was requested to prepare and approve any regional and local coastal strategies intended to address the risk of coastal flooding and erosion that are subordinate to and provide additional detailed guidance on the Shoreline Management Plan.
