Purpose:

To consider a report of the Cabinet Member for Economic Development seeking approval for a proposed response to the 9 recommendations contained within the original report of the Chair of the Safer Communities Scrutiny Panel, presented to Cabinet on 19th April, 2010.  

Decision:

(i) To approve the Cabinet’s responses as set out in Appendix 1

 

Reasons for the decision:

As part of the Council’s Constitution the Executive need to consider all inquiry reports that have been endorsed by OSMC and formally respond to their recommendations.
