Virtual work clubs
If you’re out of work or you’re on furlough and unsure about the future, our Employment Support Team are on hand to help – and you don’t even need to leave home to access their free, expert advice.
The team of Employment Advisors run a Virtual Work Club every Thursday afternoon, meaning you can chat to the experts, ask questions and receive help and support online.
The Virtual Work Club takes place every Thursday between 3pm and 5pm on Zoom. You can log on any time in the two-hour session to receive support or request a one-to-one confidential chat with an Employment Advisor.
We can help you with:
- Job searching, applications and interviews
- Creating or updating your CV
- Setting up your own business
- Advice and signposting around furlough and returning to work
- Referral to our other projects or support services
You don’t even need your own Zoom account to join the Virtual Work Club. As long as you have a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer, all you need to do is click this link to take you to the Zoom meeting: and enter the password: 356055. If you’ve never used Zoom before check out some useful online tutorial videos to get started.
Also, make sure you’re subscribed to our Employment Support and Jobs e-alert to receive emails and information direct to your inbox, on how to improve your chances of finding work.
