Increased support with money and debt
The experts in our Money and Debt Advice Team have extended their opening hours to increase the support available for tenants. The free service (formerly called Welfare Rights Advice) is now open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday offering confidential advice to help you manage your money and regain control of your finances.
Get in touch or call 023 8083 2339 for support on issues including budgeting, claiming benefits and tackling debt.
Look out for the survey
If you’re one of the 1,500 people selected to receive a call or email inviting you to participate in our upcoming Tenant Satisfaction Measures survey, please do take the time to respond. Your views are invaluable in helping us to make important improvements.
Gearing up for VE Day celebrations
Communities across the city are preparing to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day later this month. Special events will be taking place in a number of our sheltered housing schemes where some residents have personal memories of the day peace was declared in Europe in May 1945.
Residents at Medwall Court in Thornhill will be holding a 1940s themed Cream Tea in the community room on Sunday 11 May, while over at Orpen Road in Thornill the historic event will be marked with a nostalgic party on Saturday 10 May. Check out our next issue for a full report of the events.
