Fruitful win part of £2m grant for cutting edge design project
Reducing inefficiencies in water consumption plays a vital role in protecting the environment and securing supply for an increasing population. The funding will enable the joint team to execute a human-centric-design project with an inclusive section of UK public. The outcome is a design to delight water customers by sharing consumption and new services in an engaging and affecting manner. B4T has been selected as one of a number of innovators for early-stage, people and planet centred design projects to influence their future research and development activity. A call for participants opens in January with in-person design session at The Design Chapel (pictured) in Southampton 4th March 2023. To register interest and take part in the survey click here

We are going produce a design that will engage UK consumers with new services that are meaningful to them and their families, to change demand behaviour, eliminate leakage and ultimately secure UK Water supply for decades to come.”
