If you’ve got a fledgling business and future-focused ideas that have the potential to be transformative, now is your time to shine with Southampton Science Park’s Catalyst business accelerator programme. Applications are now open.

Now in its thirteenth year, Catalyst is designed specifically for early-stage innovation-led companies in the South. Participants benefit from high-level one-to-one mentoring, workshops with subject experts, peer sessions and focused team space at the prestigious Southampton Science Park Innovation Centre.

This proven business support programme is offered at no cost to participants and no equity stake is required either. All you need to do is commit to a minimum of two days each week to fully benefit from this community-led programme, which runs over six months from September 2023. 

83 companies have worked through the Catalyst programme so far. Between them, they have secured over £50m in funding and created more than 230 jobs across our region. Impressively, 80% of Catalyst businesses continue to trade and grow after three years, compared to the national average of just 40% - testimony to the quality of the coaching and support teams and the entrepreneurial environment that Catalyst companies benefit from.
