Abandoned shopping trolleys
If you see an abandoned shopping trolley, the first thing to do is to see which retailer it belongs to. We encourage the responsible retailers to collect the trolley, either using the company’s own staff and vehicles or a specifically appointed removal agent.
The list of retailers and their contact details or the company they use are:
- ALDI – report using ALDI’s online form on the ALDI website
- Asda – email request@collextrolley.com
- B&Q – report through Trolleywise
- Farmfoods – report through the contact section of the Farmfoods website
- Iceland – report through the contact section of the Iceland website
- IKEA – report through Trolleywise
- Lidl – report through Trolleywise
- Sainsburys – report through Trolleywise
- Tesco – report through Trolleywise
- The Range – report through the contact section of The Range website
- Waitrose – email customerserviceteam@waitrose.co.uk
- West Quay – email info@west-quay.co.uk
If you cannot tell which retailer the trolley belongs to
We only remove abandoned trolleys when it is in serious state of disrepair and it is not possible to find the retailer the trolley belongs to. In this case, you will need to report this to us as a fly–tipping.
