Children’s Services – how our services will change

There are currently three key programmes of activity within the Children’s Services portfolio. These aim to support the vision of ‘all children and young people in Southampton to get a good start in life, live safely, be healthy and happy and go on to have successful opportunities in adulthood’.

The activity within these programmes build on previous work to further manage demand, increase the number of placements for children and young people including the development of residential homes, and redesign services to improve outcomes for children and families.
