Our nursery

StartPoint Sholing is situated in Wood Close, Sholing, and is lucky to have an extensive outside area.

Children can attend from the age of two through to school age. Each child is assigned a key person and a base room where they will become familiar with where their belongings are and how to access the environment.

Breakfast and end of day times are spent together in an allocated room, as are the school holidays.

We offer term time session as well as limited all-year-round spaces.

Muddy Explorers (Forest Schools)

Muddy Explorers is an outdoor learning approach using forests and wooded areas as a means to offer children regular opportunities for outdoor learning. Forest School is a specialised learning approach where trained practitioners nurture and encourage child-led exploration and discovery. Our qualified Forest Schools Leader plans and delivers regular woodland and outdoor learning sessions, to support children to progress their learning and development.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for children to experience a deeper connection with the environment around them which will give them a sense of belonging and achievement through the outdoors.
