Training

What’s available and how do I book?

The SSCP provides fully funded multi-agency learning events; including online training, webinars, workshops and e-learning. These events bring professionals together to develop knowledge and skills and emphasise the benefits of working together to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.

We provide free training which is delivered either online or face to face.

To find out more about upcoming training and to book please see our Eventbrite page.

Allocation of places and non-attendance

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis, although selection and prioritisation may be undertaken to ensure multi-agency representation.

If you are unable to attend a pre-booked course, please provide the SSCP with 48 hours notice to avoid incurring a non-attendance fee by emailing safeguarding.partnershipsteam@southampton.gov.uk. This will also allow another attendee to take your place at the training, as there are often waiting lists.

Following training we ask that you complete a quick and easy feedback form which will be emailed to you, in order to allow the training offered to be monitored and improved.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the SSCP using the email address below.
