HIPS Child Sexual Abuse Toolkit

Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton (HIPS) have developed a toolkit to support all practitioners when working with children, young people and their families. The information in the HIPS CSA Toolkit reflects the Child Sexual Abuse Strategy. The material is free to access and available to all practitioners from any agency/organisation across HIPS.

The HIPS CSA Strategy and Toolkit should be read in conjunction with the HIPS Procedures on Child Sexual Abuse.

Child Sexual Abuse Strategy

The HIPS Child Sexual Abuse Strategy has been produced to support a co-ordinated approach to preventing child sexual abuse (CSA), and improve the identification of, protection of - and support for - victims, survivors, and their families. It has been created to improve the ways in which children’s needs and risks are understood, recognised and responded to.
