Organic consignments that are deemed not to meet the requirements for the labelling and/or sale as an organic product upon entry to Great Britain will be prohibited from leaving the port. A legal notice will be served on the individual/organisation responsible for the consignment. This will present the individual/organisation responsible for the consignment with a number of options regarding the future of the consignment, including re-labelling or re-exportation. The movement of the consignment inland before these conditions are met may be granted if specific conditions are met.
