Ordering waste sacks
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have been unable to complete delivery of waste and recycling sacks to all qualifying properties in April. We would like to apologise if you are yet to receive your sacks. The delivery of remaining sacks is being prioritised, and all outstanding deliveries will be completed by the end of May.
Some properties in the city use plastic sacks for waste and recycling instead of the standard issue bins. Typically, these are areas of the city with no frontage to store bins, or blocks that have a small bin cupboard by their front doors.
Twice a year, in April and October, we deliver new black rubbish sacks and clear recycling sacks to each of these properties. If you are an existing customer and need more plastic sacks or would like to ask if you are eligible for these, please complete the following online form.
Please note: The majority of council sheltered housing blocks have now switched to shared communal wheeled bins. If you have these for your block, plastic sacks will no longer be provided.
